1. Who we are

SpicyLink (spicylink.co.uk) is a link-in-bio platform that lets you share all your links from a single personalised page. SpicyLink is part of the SwingersWiki network.

2. What data we collect

When you register and use SpicyLink, we collect:

  • Account information โ€” username, email address, hashed password
  • Profile information โ€” display name, bio, profile photo (if you choose to add them)
  • Links โ€” the URLs and titles you add to your page
  • Click data โ€” when a visitor clicks one of your links, we record the click count, IP address, and browser user agent for analytics purposes
  • Email logs โ€” a record of system emails sent to your address (verification, notifications)

3. How we use your data

  • To operate your SpicyLink account and display your public profile page
  • To send you your email verification link and important account notifications
  • To show you click analytics on your own links
  • To keep the platform safe โ€” detecting spam, abuse, and banned content

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the service to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Free user profile pages may display advertisements via Google AdSense, which may set its own cookies. Premium and Sponsor accounts never see ads.

5. Your public profile

Your profile page at spicylink.co.uk/username is publicly visible. This includes your display name, bio, profile photo, and active links. Do not add information to your public profile that you do not wish to be seen publicly.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Click logs are kept indefinitely for your analytics but are deleted if you reset clicks or delete a link. Email logs are kept for the last 30 entries only.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data via your dashboard settings
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Object to processing of your data

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@spicylink.co.uk.

8. Security

All passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Your data is stored in a database not publicly accessible from the web. All forms are protected against CSRF attacks. We use HTTPS to encrypt data in transit.

9. Third-party links

SpicyLink pages contain links to external websites. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Continued use of SpicyLink after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
